Article 68. Data protection inspector

(1) The data protection inspector shall be responsible for examining complaints concerning alleged infringements of this Law, for investigating the application of the legislation on personal data protection, and for other tasks provided for by the legislation.

(2) The position of data protection inspector is a public office with special status, exercised in the manner laid down in this Law and in Law No. 158/2008 on Public Office and the Status of Civil Servants.

(3) The data protection inspector shall receive a service identity card in the manner established by the Centre.
