Article 55. Status of the Centre

(1) The National Centre for Personal Data Protection is a public authority which operates at national level as a single structure, independent of other public authorities, of other legal persons and of natural persons.

(2) The Centre is a legal person under public law and has a seal bearing the image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Moldova.

(3) The seat of the Centre is in the municipality of Chișinău.
