## Definition in the Law [art. 4](https://conformitate.md/en/law-195-2024/article-4#term-18 "representative")

> a natural or legal person established in the Republic of Moldova who, designated by the controller or processor in writing pursuant to art. 27, represents the controller or processor with regard to their respective obligations under this Law;

It may be a Moldovan company designated in writing by a controller not established in the Republic of Moldova.
